THERE is just one week left until Portsmouth’s first Journey Back To Work event takes place.

Around 1,200 apprenticeship roles and dozens of permanent and seasonal jobs will be on offer at the event, which takes place at Cascades Shopping Centre from 10am until 4.30pm next Thursday.

It will help people of all ages with finding work experience and apprenticeships, as well as permanent and seasonal jobs, and advice on getting back into work.

It is being run jointly by Jobcentre Plus, Portsmouth City Council, Cascades, The News, A4E and Maximus/CDG.

Employers who want to know more about the benefits of employing apprentices or offering work experience are also being encouraged to visit.
