AN INVESTIGATION is underway after Virgin Media customers saw their internet connection go down this week.
Problems emerged with Virgin’s web service in Portsmouth and Gosport on Tuesday evening. The situation has now been resolved and the cause is being looked into.
A Virgin Media spokesperson said: ‘We’re sorry for the disruption which meant some of our customers had only intermittent or slow access to the internet for a period of Tuesday evening.
‘This issue has been resolved but its cause is under investigation. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.’
