Investment for boat club

THREE new boats have been added to a rapidly expanding fleet at a boat club.

Boat Club Trafalgar, in Port Solent, has bought a Beneteau Barracuda 7, which will be appointed as the fleet’s fishing boat, a Ballistic 7.8M Sports RIB and a Finnmaster S6 Day Boat.

Steve Rodwell, manager, said: ‘Boat Club Trafalgar has an extensive fleet of boats to suit everyone’s needs and occasion. There isn’t another club on the Solent that offers what we do. Now’s the time for any boating enthusiast to find out more and maybe come down for a sea trial.

‘We have boat club open days coming up which are a great opportunity for people to see our facilities and learn more about what our club and the Solent has to offer.’

The club, one of the only ones of its kind to feature powerboats on the Solent, was set up by marine businessman Jonny Boys last year.
