Investment for marina firm

SOUTH coast marina operator Dean & Reddyhoff has announced that it has bought the Deacons Boatyard and Marina on the River Hamble.

Moore Blatch solicitors supported the sale from marine property investment and development company Fuller Group.

Dean & Reddyhoff, managing director, Michael Prideaux, said: ‘Under the ownership of the Fuller Group, Deacons Boatyard and Marina has thrived and is one of the premier marinas on the Solent. Under our ownership we will continue to develop the facilities and build on the respected reputation and heritage that the marina has.’

Alex Fuller, managing director, Fuller Group, said: ‘We’ve owned Deacons Boatyard since the early 1960s and have invested heavily and helped create one of the areas most loved marina complexes. We are now very pleased to facilitate the next stage of its development.’
