The Fareham company has chosen Wessex Heartbeat as one of its dedicated charities of the year and will spend the next 12 months fundraising for it.

Among the activities staff have in store are dress down days and live music performances.

Taylor Made will also hold a golf day and gala dinner in aid of the charity. The event, in September, will mark one of the first opportunities for golfers to take part in a tournament at the Ageas Hilton’s new 18-hole course.

Nigel Taylor, managing director, said: ‘We’ve long been supporters of the fantastic work that Wessex Heartbeat does. Our staff are excited about putting their fundraising plans into action.’

John Munro, chief executive of Wessex Heartbeat, said: ‘We are so pleased to have the backing of Taylor Made Computer Solutions in our 25th year.

‘Over the years its staff have helped the charity in many ways, from fundraising to lending their IT skills. We’re looking forward to working together in 2017 and helping to put heart health at the top of the agenda.’
