IT company selected for trade visit to Malaysia

DATA services and software development company KnowHow Information has been selected to travel on a trade visit to Malaysia.

KnowNow Information, which is based at the University of Portsmouth’s Innovation Space, will be travelling to Kuala Lumpur today to join a group representing high growth UK companies at a technology Trade Mission organised by the Department for International Trade (DIT).

The firm was selected to be an inaugural member of the DIT’s Company Sub-Sector Support Programme, an initiative designed to help high growth UK businesses expand into targeted export markets.

During the visit, KnowNow will talk about its innovative privacy and consent management system, Consentua, to 200 companies.

David Patterson, managing director, said: ‘The Malaysian market represents a significant opportunity for us to expand.

‘We are keen to forge partnerships with the banking industry, telecoms providers and the public sector, who will all benefit from the greater level of trust that Consentua creates.’
