Jobs up for grabs at Daedalus as MoD extends contract with aircraft manufacturer

EXTRA jobs are up for grabs at an aircraft manufacturer after the UK Ministry of Defence extended its contract with the Lee-on-the-Solent firm.

BN Defence, a subsidiary of Britten-Norman, the aircraft manufacturer based at Solent Airport Daedalus, is recruiting an additional seven staff to enhance support to the military’s front line.

Vacancies include technical support staff at Lee-on-the-Solent, a field service representative at the front line, and aircraft technicians to support operations at Lee-on-the-Solent and  the front line.

A spokeswoman said: ‘Working with the UK’s MoD, BN Defence provides a full range of aviation support services to the front line. Anyone interested in joining should email [email protected].’

Britten-Norman recently secured two additional hangars at Lee-on-Solent Aviation Park, growing its floor space by over 50 per cent.
