YOUNG business people are being invited to the first free open evening of the Portsmouth branch of Junior Chamber International.

It takes place this evening at 7pm, at Portsmouth’s Holiday Inn.

Those taking part will hear from a variety of speakers talk about their experiences and success in the world of business, with the keynote address from former Olympic swimmer Katy Sexton MBE, who is now a sports entrepreneur.

Jasmine Blofield, the branch’s president, said: ‘‘Whether you want to learn more skills, get new ideas or simply meet other young professionals and expand your network of contacts, this promises to be a very exciting event.’
