Kindhearted staff at Portsmouth firm donate their winnings to charityÂ

STAFF at a logistics firm voted to give their winnings to two good causes.Â

2MV Logistics, in Portsmouth, won the The Pallet Network's monthly charity draw and nominated Macmillan Cancer Support and children's hospice Naomi House as their recipients.

'˜We held a ballot amongst the team and these two charities came up repeatedly,' said sales manager Graham Truckel.

'˜Our MD Jim Tyler and 2MV have donated to Naomi House before. It provides expert hospice care for seriously ill children and young people and their families.'

Although 2MV could choose to use half of its £1,000 winnings to reward its staff, the team voted to give it all to charity.

The Pallet Network has more than 100 member companies around the UK, each of which pledges £10 a month to the charity pot, which one regional winner wins each month.
