PORTSMOUTH solicitors’ firm Verisona Law has helped a second football team win a battle against relegation.

Solicitors at Verisona Law were instrumental in helping Portsmouth Football Club become the fan-owned community club it is today, and now they have helped save Aldershot Town FC from liquidation.

Once again a fan consortium, aided by administrators Quantuma, has taken over a struggling club.

Mike Dyer, director and head of the Aldershot team, said: ‘Quantuma turned to us following our success in gaining the keys to Fratton Park for its fans.

‘With a similar outcome here, but working from the opposite angle – the administrator and not the buyer – we were able to secure a future for Aldershot Town FC and its fans.’
