Law partners recognised in prestigious directory

The firm, which has offices across the south coast and headquarters in Portsmouth, has been featured in the Legal 500 directory.

The directory assesses the strengths of solicitors and the companies they work for, before ranking them according to region.

Partners Doug Miller and Sue Bowler oversee the personal injury and clinical negligence team.

The pair have been named ‘leading individuals’ in the latest directory for their work on serious personal injury and negligence claims.

The team, led by Sue, secured a landmark High Court ruling in favour of their client Philip Eaglesham late last year.

Philip contracted Q fever while on a tour of duty in Afghanistan. The firm argued that the Ministry of Defence had been negligent towards their client.

Doug said: ‘For over 20 years we have devoted our careers to fighting for justice for the victims of accidental injury and in the field of medical negligence, taking the most complex matters to the highest courts.
