BUSINESS people from across the Solent put on their best attire on Friday for the Solent Business Ball.

The black-tie event at Grand Harbour Hotel at Southampton saw some 300 representatives from Solent businesses come together for an evening of entertainment and networking.

Adam Mason, manager at Grant Thornton and deputy president at the Southern Society of Chartered Accountants, said: ‘We were extremely pleased to see so many representatives from the Solent’s thriving business community enjoying a great evening of networking.

‘The ball is now in its third year and attracts a diverse guest list that ensures networks are not limited to a profession but extended across the region.

‘It’s a great opportunity for businesses to entertain valued clients and staff and generate potential new business and contacts.’
