HIGH street bank lending to small businesses fell by £1.8bn in May, Government figures have shown.

Ken Moon, chairman of the Wessex branch of the Federation of Small Businesses said: ‘It is very bad news that the amount of money that the banks are lending to small businesses has fallen again – especially as it has dropped dramatically again since the fall in April.’
