Lifejacket manufacturer donates to competition

A MANUFACTURER of marine safety equipment, life jackets and buoyancy aids will be donating a generous array of prizes to a sailing competition.

The Crewsaver Warsash Spring Championship 2017 takes place over two weekends, April, 8 and 9 and April 22 and 23.

Crewsaver, based in Gosport, has donated prizes including a Crewfit 180N Pro from the Fusion 3D lifejacket range for the Black Group Championship winners, and three additional lifejackets.

Peter Bateson, championship chairman, said: ‘Thanks to Crewsaver’s generosity competitors in this year’s Spring Championship and Series have the chance to win some seriously good safety kit. We are very grateful to Crewsaver for their continued support and look forward to working with them through this year’s series.’

Crewsaver will also be supporting the Warsash Spring Series by offering a further six Crewfit 180N Pro lifejackets to the series’ weekly draw.

The prize-giving will be held at Warsash Sailing Club on the May 19.
