A FLOWER wholesaler in Horndean has supplied blooms used in an award-winning exhibit at the Chelsea Flower Show.

Nursery Fresh, based on the Hazelton Interchange Industrial Estate supplied the flowers for the Scottish branch of the National Association of Flower Arrangement Societies (NAFAS).

The exhibit was called Far Below the Sea Blooms and was given a gold medal by the Chelsea Flower Show judges.

John Waddington, the firm’s owner and director, said: ‘Congratulations to Valerie Davidson and her team and thank you for putting your faith in our flowers and service.

‘We are looking forward to working with Angela Turner and the Wessex and Jersey area of NAFAS at the Winchester Cathedral Symphony of Flowers, which will be held between June 12 and 16 and will be the most exciting flower festival of 2013.’
