Long delays after A27 crash in PortsmouthÂ

A crash has blocked a lane on the A27 in Portsmouth this morning.Â

The collision happened on the westbound carriageway in Hilsea and motorists are being warned of 15 minute delays stretching back to Farlington. 

The crash happened between A2030 London Road & M27 Portsmouth and one lane out of three is currently blocked.

Witnesses have reported that ambulance and police are at the scene this morning. 

Traffic is said to be queuing back on the westbound carriageway. 

Highways England tweeted: '˜Please take care on approach, delays are building in the area. Thank you.'
