TICKETS are now on sale for this year’s Ale-ing Fest.

The beer bash at Hayling Island Community Centre, in Station Road, Hayling Island, on October 3 and 4 will see more than 30 real ales and ciders run through the taps.

The Friday session will be held from 6.30pm to 11pm, and a live performance will be held by six-piece Irish band Shamrock Keys.

The Saturday afternoon session runs from noon until 4pm, with background music being played in the background so drinkers can enjoy a beer and chat.

The festival will run again that evening from 6.30pm to 11pm, with live music from The Trevor John Band, which perform a range of covers.

Advance tickets are now on sale, with Friday and Saturday evening sessions costing £8.50 and Saturday afternoon costing £4.25 each.

The price includes a commemorative Ale-ing Fest glass, while stocks last, to take home.

It also includes a programme detailing all the drinks on offer as well as a token for one glass of beer or cider.

Since starting in 1995, The Ale-ing Fest has grown and become a popular annual staple.

The two-day event is held each year to raise money for the Hayling Twinning Association.

The island is twinned with Gorron, a small market town in the north-west region of France. All the money raised goes towards cultural exchanges as well as good causes on the island.
