A CAR repair garage has been officially reopened following a full refurbishment.

Kwik Fit in Waterlooville was reopened by the mayor of Havant, Paul Buckley, who also met the team at the garage chain’s Stakes Hill Road branch.

To celebrate, the store will be offering a 30 per cent discount on all its services tomorrow.

Cllr Buckley said: ‘The investment that the new owners of Kwik Fit have poured into the local centre is very good news for Waterlooville and its motorists.

‘The town is very fortunate that the company selected the Waterlooville branch for refurbishment with all the latest technology and equipment over hundreds of others.’

The branch was chosen by the national chain for its customer services levels.

Manager Darrell Mitchell, said: ‘It’s given the staff a real boost that our hard work has been recognised, and that our centre has been given major investment.

‘All the team take great pride in our work and now we have a working environment that matches our ambition to deliver the best possible service.’
