ENERGY minister Chris Huhne is today due to give a speech about the benefits of companies investing in renewable energy.

He will talk about the progress made in the last six months, including industry plans to invest to £1.7bn and create over 9,000 jobs ‘from the Western Isles to the Isle of Wight’, where a Biomass plant is due to be built.
