AN MP has been made a small business ambassador by the prime minister.

Gosport MP Caroline Dinenage will take the lead to support small firms in the south. The campaign was launched at a reception in No 10 Downing Street.

Ms Dinenage, second right, will represent and promote small businesses.

She said: ‘I will always speak up for small business and work hard to help our hugely talented entrepreneurs, so they can flourish into the successes I know they can be.’

She has more than 20 years experience as a business owner.
