AN MP has praised a Portsmouth business for being given a Queen’s Awards for Enterprise.

Dryad Maritime, in Kingston Crescent, won the award last month. The operations firms helps people both in the commercial and leisure maritime industries.

Portsmouth North MP Penny Mordaunt said: ‘Many congratulations to Dryad Maritime.

‘They are a wonderful business and helping to enhance Portsmouth’s global reputation as the maritime heart of the UK.

‘Well done to everyone who works there.’
