Mystery surrounds giant letters on Southsea Common
LARGE letters have appeared on Southsea Common this morning '“ leaving people wondering about what their meaning.
They popped up overnight, at the Clarence Pier end of the Common near the children’s playpark.
They are printed with a hashtag - #Soclose2U – but no other clues about what they might be.
Callers have been ringing in to local radio and people on twitter have been speculating about what they might be – some suggestions include a marriage proposal, and a Gary Lineker crisps campaign.
