AN AIR navigation service provider has become one of the first companies in the world to achieve certification to ISO44001 – the International Standard for Collaborative Business Relationships.

Nats, which is based at Swanwick and Whiteley, is one of only six companies initially certified by the British Standards Institution to the new standard after an extensive, independent, assessment.

ISO44001 replaces BS11000 and provides guidance for identifying, developing and managing collaborative business relationships.

Tim Bullock, director supply chain, said: ‘We’re delighted to be part of this world first and proud to have achieve certification to this landmark standard. Nats has been a strong advocate of the document since its inception, it complements and underpins how Nats works with our partners to achieve business aims.’
