New car dealership to open in DraytonÂ

Richmond Motor Group (RMG) has obtained the freehold of the site in Havant Road, which will be added to its existing Hyundai and Citroen portfolio.

The latest expansion comes amid a boom in the dealership's trade, which has seen its operation being expanded across Hampshire and Surrey.

The 2,800 sq ft showroom provides space for 12 cars, with with a reception service area to the rear and two single storey, interconnecting workshops.

Outside there is a paved forecourt which can display 32 vehicles, while the site includes three workshops, a garage and two-storey house, which was included with the purchase.

LSH director Graham Holland, who advised RMG on the purchase, said the new deal was a good move for the firm, adding: '˜Richmond Motor Group has seen significant expansion in both its Hyundai and Citreon dealerships across the south. The acquisition of the Havant Road site fits well with its strategy as it continues to buck the trend with its ambitious growth plans.'
