New director announced for Hampshire accountancy firm

Gary Brown has been given the role at HWB, a business and tax adviser.

Mr Brown, previously an associate director, heads the legal specialism team at the Chandler’s Ford firm and has been there more than a decade. He first joined its accounts and audit team in 2006, when HWB merged with Rossell Hicks.

As a member of HWB’s leadership team, Mr Brown has responsibility for managing a wide portfolio of clients, ranging from small businesses to large audit clients, across Hampshire, Wiltshire and Dorset.

Geoff Rhodes, managing director, said: ‘I’m delighted to announce this appointment and welcome Gary to the board.

‘He has been with HWB for more than 10 years and during that time has earned himself high regard for his expertise, particularly in providing specialist advice to our legal clients.

‘We strongly believe in nurturing talent and rewarding hard work among our team and this promotion reflects that commitment.’

With almost two decades of experience as a chartered certified Accountant, Mr Brown has worked with a wide range of organisations.
