THE group hoping to regenerate a high street is welcoming two new shops.

Gosport’s Town Team, led by chairman Graham Jacobs, is tasked with rejuvenating the town centre, particularly tackling the problem of empty shops.

And now a nail bar and a newsagent will fill two empty units.

Lynette Fossey, a spokesperson for the team, said: ‘We are looking forward to getting new shops up and running, I hope this is the way forward now.’
