Nominations open for Solent Design Awards

BUSINESSES are being urged to enter their developments into the Solent Design Awards.

The awards celebrate show-stopping buildings that have transformed their area or made an impact on people.

The Mary Rose Museum, at Portsmouth’s Historic Dockyard, has previously won at the awards.

Categories include Quality Residential Place, People’s Choice and Quality Place.

It is open to any firms in Hampshire and on the Isle of Wight.

Paul Ramshaw, from Quality Places Practitioners’ Group which is organising the event, said the competition will be tough this year based on the way the Solent’s skyline has evolved since the last awards.
