Last weekend, some of the local hopefuls that want to join the team met with general manager Lesley-Ann, supported by members of the head office team and colleagues from other Hartford Care Homes.

The successful open day took place in the main hall of Miltoncross Academy.

Throughout the day a steady stream of potential applicants had the opportunity to meet with members of Hartford Care, talk to people doing a similar role and discuss, in more detail, some of the job roles available.

By the end of the day the team were really excited and pleased to have welcomed over 150 people through the doors, all of who went away with a genuinely positive impression of what working for Hartford Care would be like.

Lesley-Ann said: ‘This is such an exciting time for Hartford Court and for me personally.

‘Meeting some of the people, for the first time that will be joining our brand new team was really fun.

‘We have been given an incredibly warm welcome from the people of Portsmouth as we have been building the home and Saturday’s recruitment day was an equally positive experience for us.

‘We were delighted to met lots of loving and dedicated people who want to come and join us in our beautiful new home.’
