The Vets Now staff will operate from within Sanctuary Vets’ premises in Jackson Close and they will provide a service at nights, weekends and bank holidays open to all pet owners.

Vets Now founder Richard Dixon said: ‘We’ve been offering an emergency out-of-hours clinic in Portsmouth for eight years and have helped thousands of ill pets and their families.

‘When the opportunity came up to relocate to the state-of-the-art Sanctuary Vets we jumped at the chance.
