GUNWHARF Quays has announced another new store opening later this year.

Pearl Izumi, the international cycling, running and triathlon brand, will be opening its doors at the centre next month.

It will be the company’s fifth European outlet store.

Colin Wilding, centre director at Gunwharf Quays, said: ‘We’re delighted to be announcing another new name for the centre. Pearl Izumi is a well-regarded international sports brand and hugely popular among cycling, running and triathlon fans.

‘With only five outlet stores in Europe, it is a real coup that they have decided to open their UK store here at Gunwharf Quays and testament to the strength of our premium retail outlet offer.

‘We look forward to the doors opening next month.’

Lieven Muylaert, project manager for Pearl Izumi factory stores, said: ‘A great next step in the development of the brand recognition in Europe. Seeing the traffic during my visits at Gunwharf, we are confident that this is the right spot.

‘Our store team will embrace every visitor.’
