Pompey stars Jack Whatmough and Conor Chaplin have already given it the thumbs-up after having a sneak preview of the store last week.

New store manager Aaron Holloway-Jenks said: ‘It’s great to be part of this launch and to be the first in the south.

‘Portsmouth was chosen as it is a really strong market and in the top 75 men’s markets in the UK.

‘Cascades is a great centre with lots of good shops and we now have a really good unit to complement our women’s shop in Commercial Road.

It trades really well and we have equally high hopes for our new men’s store.

‘Portsmouth is a vibrant city with lots of students and we’re looking to cater to men of all ages from 16 up and bring some diversity to the market with an offer that’s really on-trend and competitive.’

Rhoda Joseph, Centre Director for Cascades Shopping Centre, said: ‘It’s very exciting that Cascades has been chosen as the venue for the launch of this important retail venture by one of the high street’s biggest names.

‘It’s a big vote of
confidence in the centre and its place in the heart of Ports-mouth city centre where it attracts 10 million shoppers every year.’
