Portsea beer festival returns with pints of cheer
The Portsea Island Beer Festival took place at Groundlings Theatre, in Kent Street, Portsea, over Saturday and Sunday.
It was the sixth time the annual event had been held and this year it was raising cash for The Rowans Hospice, Marie Curie Cancer Care, the RSPB and Motiv8.

Hide AdOrganiser Malcolm Irving, owner of Irving & Co Brewery, said: ‘It’s been great, Groundlings is a great location for a beer festival. It’s been a great atmosphere.’
There were 43 beers and 10 ciders on offer from a range of English suppliers.
Phil Bond, 66, from Portchester, was enjoying a few pints of Thai Me Up by Irving & Co, with his family.
He said: ‘The people are great and the music is even better.’
