A MOVING film about a couple in their 80s is being shown by a film society.
Amour, a Austrian and French film, is directed by Michael Haneke.
It stars Jean-Louis Trintignant, Emmanuelle Riva, and BAFTA award winner Isabelle Huppert.
The moving film centres around couple Georges and Anne.
They are cultivated, retired music teachers. Their daughter, who is also a musician, lives abroad with her family.
The couple’s bond is severely tested as Georges and Anne face up to sudden turning point in their lives.
The film is being shown by the Portsmouth Film Society at the Omega Centre, in Omega Street, Somers Town, on Tuesday, April 9, at 8pm.
