FRAUD prevention firm Affinion International has been awarded the coveted Investors in People Gold award for its Portsmouth offices.

The gong means the company has been recognised as one of the UK’s top employers for its ongoing commitment to the development of its team members.

Fewer than 300 organisations across the UK have met the stringent standards required for the Gold award of all 22,000 IiP accredited employers.

Affinion International gained the accolade following a three-day assessment, during which IiP assessors interviewed more than 50 people chosen at random from all levels, in addition to the senior management team.

The firm employs nearly 600 people at its offices in Airspeed Road.

Andrew Mutch, Vice President at Affinion International in Portsmouth, said: ‘To be recognised in this way and to join such an elite group of employers which have reached the gold standard is a tremendous achievement, and one which belongs to every member of staff whose dedication and loyalty has made it possible.’
