Portsmouth Hospitals Charity urge fundraisers to sign up to Southampton Half Marathon

FUNDRAISERS are being urged to take on the Southampton Half Marathon and 10k run for a good cause.

Portsmouth Hospitals Charity is looking for runners to compete and raise cash for wards at Queen Alexandra Hospital or The Rocky Appeal,

The event starts at Hoglands Park, Southampton, at 9am on Sunday, April 24.

To take part in the half marathon, you need to pay a £20 registration fee and raise a minimum sponsorship of £200.

Or sign up to the 10k, it’s £15 to register and the minimum sponsorship cost is £150.

Portsmouth Hospitals Charity aims to support patients of Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust by improving existing facilities and by providing additional equipment and supporting research programmes.

The charity supports all of the wards and departments across the trust.
