A POPULAR Portsmouth attraction will be appearing tonight on a television programme which explores evolutionary biology.

The Mary Rose Museum at Portsmouth Historic Dockyard will be featured in the first episode of BBC4 programme Secret of Bones at 8.30pm.

Presented by biologist Ben Garrod, the programme will look at bones from the past and see what can be learnt from them. In the first episode, the team will delve into the mysteries revealed by the bones of the crew discovered in the Mary Rose and what they teach us about the people they belonged to.

The episode will also show work being done by Swansea University who helped with the bones in the museum.
