Pride at care home award

CARE home manager Mathu Nandagopan has spoken of her pride at being named in the top 20 most recommended care homes in the south east of England.

Whiteoaks Rest Home in Fareham won the award from carehome.co.uk – ranked one of the top out of 3,220 homes.

The award was based on recommendations from residents, plus friends and relatives of residents.

Mrs Nandagopan said: ‘We are so proud and thankful that not only is the hard work, care and commitment of our dedicated staff appreciated but also recognised and rewarded.’

Whitehaven Care Home, in Horndean, and Cross Way House, in Havant, were also listed in the top 20.
