THE operator of a leisure complex continues to make changes as it hopes to remain in charge.

Southsea Community Leisure Limited (SCLL), which runs The Pyramids Centre, is letting charities and local groups use indoor space for free.

A charity event will now be held every month.

The previous one was held by the African Woman’s Forum, which raised more than £2,000 for Teekpeh Town in Liberia. SCLL is also working with The Southsea Shakespeare Actors and hopes to host a performance of Hamlet.

As previously reported, management of The Pyramids is out for tender.

A decision will be made at a council meeting on June 11.
