VIDEO footage has been released of the circuit Sir Ben Ainslie and his Portsmouth sailing challengers will race on in their quest for America’s Cup glory.

Organisers have unveiled the Bermuda arena as Wednesday marked 100 days to the start of the finals of the elite sailing competition – May 26.

The race village where spectators will watch all of the action is located in the Royal Naval Dockyard on the western-most end of the island, e the prime viewing location for the racing taking place on Bermuda’s Great Sound.

America’s Cup boss, Sir Russell Coutts, the most successful sailor in the contest’s history, said: ‘One hundred days to go until the start of the 35th America’s Cup is a major milestone, one that really brings home just how close we all are to the start of what I am sure is going to be the greatest America’s Cup yet.’
