PRESTIGIOUS car manufacturer Rolls-Royce has published a collection of pictures taking a look back over 2013.

The manufacturer, which makes each car at its facility at Westhampnett, near Goodwood, celebrated its centenary last year, and chose a selection of 50 pictures and videos to share with the marque’s enthusiasts.

It began with celebrations for a decade of production at the Home of Rolls-Royce and the announcement of record annual sales – the highest in its history and the third consecutive record year.

The Geneva International Motor Show in March saw the launch of Wraith, the most powerful Rolls-Royce in history. It was unveiled at a reception in Goodwood at the same time, as published in The News.

Other highlights included the recreation of Lady Penelope’s FAB1 to support Breast Cancer Care, the drama of the award-winning Centenary Alpine Trial and the unveiling of several stunning bespoke models following a Rolls-Royce In Colour competition.

Pictures and videos from the firm’s centenary year have been published in Pinterest, the picture-led social media site.
