Sainsbury’s Broadcut is looking for a new charity from the Fareham area to support.

Over the next couple of months, Sainsbury’s stores will make a shortlist of charities for customers to vote for as part of the Local Charity of the Year scheme.

The winning charity will then receive a year of support from the store, which includes fundraising and awareness. Customers can vote between June 13-26 in-store.

Phil Bridgwater, store manager of Sainsbury’s Broadcut, said: ‘There are so many fantastic charities in the local area who do brilliant work in our community. We’d love to hear from charities we haven’t supported before.’

If you would like to apply, register your interest at the customer service desk or kiosk at Sainsbury’s Broadcut, Wallington Way, Broadcut, Fareham PO16 8SU to be considered.

The nominations close on May 9. Please note all charities must be registered to the UK Charity Commission.
