The supermarket giant will initially be selling the three products in 468 stores across the country from now until November 4 '“ and could make a cheeky stocking filler.

The Evening Standard reports that Sainsbury's are dipping into the sex toy market because they want to '˜help customers reinvigorate their sex lives and boost the nations' sense of well-being'.

Paul Mills-Hicks, food commercial director at Sainsbury's, said: '˜By introducing a new range at affordable prices, we hope to give customers the option to buy quickly and conveniently in an environment they feel comfortable with.' 

Sainsbury's say they were inspired to launch the range of sex toys after its Living Well Index found that sex life satisfaction has a big impact on a person's sense of well-being. 

With one in three Brits claiming that they are not satisfied by their sex life. 

Sainsbury's says they will monitor customer feedback with the view to add more products next year.
