The Consumer Prices Index (CPI) fell from 1.8% to 1.6% over the month, according to the Office for National Statistics (ONS). It was last lower in November 2004. BUSINESSES are being offered advice on the three key elements to success for exporting goods or services from the UK to outside of the EU.

A series of free evening seminars on financing, logistics and sales are being co-hosted by UK Export Finance, a export credit agency, and Southampton-based Meachers Global Logistics

Meachers is hosting the open evenings for any Hampshire business keen to learn about how to export.

The first event is on Thursday, July 23 (then August 13 and October 15) from 4pm to 6pm at Meachers’ offices in Majestic Road on the Nursling Industrial Estate in Southampton.

Three experts will be speaking during the evening, including Stuart Stoter, export finance adviser at UK Export Finance.
