Shopping centre takes part in disability dayÂ

DISABILITY was top of the agenda at a shopping centre as it took part in a national campaign.Â

Cascades Shopping Centre in Portsmouth took part in Purple Tuesday this week, the UK's first national, accessible shopping day, a campaign to recognise the needs of customers with disabilities.

Centre manager Andrew Philip said: '˜We are continually working with our retailers and partners in the community such as Portsmouth Disability Forum to look for ways to improve visitors' experience as it's hugely important to us that everyone feels comfortable when they are here.'
