Six charities get donations from business

A family-run financial advice business has raised £1,200 for Hampshire charities.

Redwood Financial, based near Southampton, has distributed the money to six different charities in the county, including the Rowans Hospice, The Rainbow Centre and Brain Tumour Research.

Donations were given from attendees of free seminars the business runs across the region. These collection tins are usually opened at the end of the year, but became full this month. In total they have raised £35,000 for local charities over the past 17 years, Managing director Jasmine Lambert said: ‘I just want to say a big thank you to everyone who donated. We are so overwhelmed.’
