Southsea hair salon is rated highly in independent salon guide

The Good Salon Guide, an independent guide to standards in hairdressing in the UK and Ireland, gave Nevaeh Hair & Beauty, in Albert Road, a four-star rating.

Gareth Penn, managing director of the Good Salon Guide, which is based in Portsmouth, said he was delighted to see Nevaeh reach the standards required to become a member of the Good Salon Guide.

Salon owner Rebecca Bradley said: ‘The Good Salon Guide is the long-awaited measure that enables clients to know their hairdresser is a true professional.

‘We are delighted to have achieved independent recognition of this salon’s standards.’

The Good Salon Guide is also sponsoring the Colour Technician of the Year category in this year’s Hair and Beauty Awards, which are organised by The News.

The event returns to the Portsmouth Guildhall for the sixth year on Saturday, July 2.

There are 13 categories in this year’s awards, with a new category - Start-up of the Year - being launched later this week.
