Faz Ahmed, owner of the Albert Road restaurant, said: ‘My family has been running this restaurant since the late seventies and we know how important the football team is to the city.

‘Last year we become a sponsor of the Portsmouth football team so we are really excited to be hosting this charity evening for Pompey in the Community.

‘We hope as many people possible will join us for a wonderful evening.’
