BH Live, the operator of the Southsea venue, has announced that repairs are nearing completion and the pools will be back in action and open to the public from Saturday, April 23.

Swimming lessons and other water based activities will also resume from that date.

The rest of the centre is currently open as usual.

It comes after stormy weather last month led to rain pouring down the side of the building, into the pump room and through the main reception area.

Water also seeped into the offices and resulted in a loss of power.

BH Live is requesting customers contact [email protected] or call on (023) 9279 9977 if they have any quesrions. Alternatively, visit pyramids.co.uk and the Facebook page for further updates.

A statement said: ‘We thank customers for bearing with us and look forward to welcoming them back into the pool.’
