WHITELEY critical power specialist Powertecnique has been named as ‘one to watch’ in The Times’ top 100 best small companies to work for this year.

Best Companies has been producing the accreditation standard since 2006 to acknowledge excellence in organisations.

The accreditation process consists of an employee survey which monitors staff satisfaction, and an organisation questionnaire which looks to gain a greater understanding of the organisation.

The company is then measured against criteria to determine where it ranks.

Managing director of Powertecnique, Darren Pearce, said: ‘We are delighted to be selected in the top 100 “ones to watch” and truly feel that we owe it to our staff.

‘People deliver the business and our success, and we have a really strong commitment to them because we know they fuel our growth.’
