A TEAM of 12 employees from Groupama Insurances’ offices in Port Solent has helped transform an old school glass-house into an outside classroom at Portsdown Primary School in Portsmouth.

The team’s work helped create a new space in which pupils can feel closer to nature, and be able to keep watch on the plants and vegetables they will be growing as part of their environmental studies.

They transformed the greenhouse and decking area into a clean, safe and inviting space for the children to learn in.

Jamie Marchant, spokesman from Groupama Insurances, said: ‘We wanted a team-building day with a difference and one that we felt would also help the wider community.’
